The project is an Institutional Auditorium in a sub-urban township in East Medinipur district, almost 160 KM away from Kolkata. The scale of the imposing structure and the adopted aesthetic quality vividly portray the local contexts and traditional cultural languages. The hexagonal internal layout inside the main hall will have almost 120 degree spread out seating arrangements surrounding the performing stage which evolves from the seating concept of traditional ‘Yatra’ of rural Bengali culture.
